Dr. Volodymyr Bdzhola, Group Leader

    1994 - Specialist degree in Chemistry, Chemical Faculty of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University. 1998 – Ph.D degree in chemistry, Chemical Department of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University (his scientific adviser is Prof. A.I. Brusilovets). His Ph.D. thesis was focused on the study of interaction of low coordinated phosphorus with metal alkoxides and alkoxyhalogenides. Volodymyr have been working in IMBG since 2001. Now he is a senior research scientist, deputy head of Department of Combinatorial Chemistry (IMBG) and the Head of Molecular Design Group. Volodymyr is a co-author of 17 publications in scientific journals.

Dr. Alexander Kukharenko

Education and Academic qualifications :

1982-1984 -4th Kiev medical school (Diploma)
1985-1990 - National Kiev University Biological department (Diploma with honor) majored in Biology, Molecular Biology, teaching of biology and chemistry. Awarded Degree of Master of Sciences
1997 - PhD in molecular biology (Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine).

Dr. Andriy Golub

  Andriy studied at the Biological Department of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University. In 2000 he received B. S. Degree, in 2001 - Specialist degree in Biology (specialization in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry). Since 2001 Andriy have been working in Molecular Design Group of Department of Combinatorial Chemistry (Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, NAS of Ukraine). In 2007 he obtained PhD degree under supervising of Dr. Sci., Prof. Sergiy Yarmoluk. The title of Andriy’s PhD thesis is: “In Silico Design of Protein Kinase CK2 inhibitors”. Andriy is a co-author of 15 scientific papers.

Dr. Olexander Yakovenko

    Alexander is a PhD student at the Biological Department of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University (Kyiv, Ukraine). In 2004 he obtain a distinction diploma of Master of Science in Biotechnology. From 2001 Alexander works in Molecular Design Group of Department of Combinatorial Chemistry of IMBG. In 2008 he has obtained PhD degree in Biology (speciality: Biotechnology). His thesis is related to development of technology of organic molecules to biomolecular targets affinity estimation in field of high-throughput receptor-based in silico screening. Alexander is a co-author of 10 papers published in scientific journals. He is an author of several molecular modeling software programs.

Galyna Volynets

    Galyna is a student at the Biological Department of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University (specialization in Biotechnology). In 2007 she received B. S. Degree in Biology. Galyna is a co-author of two scientific papers.

Olga Sovetova

    In 2007 Olga received the diploma of the master in biotechnology at department of Biotechnology and Biotechnics of National Technical University of Ukraine "The Kiev Polytechnical Institute" (specialization "industrial biotechnology"). Currently Olga is postgraduate student of IMBG NAS of Ukraine (specialization - molecular biology). Olga's scientific interests are related to development of small-molecule inhibitors of human protein kinase ASK1.

Andr³y Gryschenko

Andriy was studied at Biological Department of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University and in 2007 he was obtained diploma of master in biochemistry. Since 2007 Andriy has been working at Molecular Design Group of Department of Combinatorial Chemistry (Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, NAS of Ukraine).
